He spent his thesis year at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the San Francisco Bay Area where he synthesized nanoporous copper catalysts and investigated their multiscale morphology. Currently, Tobias is a PhD student in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Science.
